Are we watching the Reverend — or is the Reverend watching us?

This short film by Aram Voves, sits somewhere between religious iconography and television archaeology — between the ancient gesture of the blessing and the hypnotic repetition of mass media.
It asks a beautifully uncomfortable question:
What happens when belief is no longer delivered from a pulpit, but from a screen?
And perhaps the darker question:
Are we watching the Reverend — or is the Reverend watching us?
By the end, the television glow begins to feel less like illumination and more like infection.
Visually, the film feels like a forgotten religious broadcast recovered from a damaged VHS tape in an abandoned television studio — something that should not quite exist, but somehow survived.
It is not simply "a priest on television."
It is religion transformed into television, and television transformed into religion.
It feels like a televised hallucination or a corrupted religious broadcast.
An international multi-award-winning experimental film by Aram Voves.
