A grotesque little food opera — filmed through a fisheye lens, somewhere between diner realism, silent-film comedy and surrealist performance art.

There is also something almost Buster Keaton / Jacques Tati / burlesque about the physical comedy. The humor doesn't need a punchline. It comes from watching an ordinary human being take something completely ordinary — having dinner — with an almost heroic level of seriousness.
