A wonderfully strange three-character encounter: the immaculate, almost aristocratic older gentleman; the young woman in white; and the flamboyant man in a metallic gold suit. The contrast is the visual engine of the piece. White innocence, black formality and liquid gold excess occupy the same tiny stage. The camera often treats the scene almost like a living painting. The elaborate antique frame around the image is crucial: we're not simply watching a performance — we're being invited to look at a portrait of performance itself. Characters pose, gesture, flirt, react and perform for one another as though caught between cinema, theatre and a surreal museum installation. It's funny, sensual, absurd and knowingly artificial — a film that seems to say: why pretend reality is interesting when we can make everything a little more fabulous? A gilded theatrical fantasy where seduction, vanity and performance collapse into one ridiculous little world.
